I figured it was high time for an update since I had nothing better to do. Hahah. XD
It's gotten off to a pretty fast start actually. My Socials provincial is over and now I'm right into summer after just getting back from a short trip to the cabin today. Laura came this time as well as Amy. (This girl Vanessa has to look after until her mom gets back)
No baby fish to catch yet, unfortunately. More smors. Yum. Puppers is getting old! You can totally tell now, especially up at the cabin. We took the jeep up the logging roads and shot a few ronds. I think I got one that actually hit the target. Hahah. I don' really take aim very carefully...
I drove a standard for the first time! The hardest part is getting going. Shifting from 1st to 2nd (Which is all that I've done so far) is way easier than getting going after stopping. Ugh. I must've stalled like 5 times. Oh well. It was fun-ish.
Amy was completely enamoured with the gopher whatever things we have up at the cabin everywhere. She was watching them constantly. It was quite amusing. She's a fellow gaian and anime dork. 8D
I BOUGHT A SUMMER DRESS. FOr $20 at Sirens. (Which I NEVER SHOP AT by the way.) Thuy Vi and I were waiting for the bus and had 15 minutes, so I dropped by a few stores and saw it. It's really simple; Black and white flower design goes right above my knees. No frills or anything, with that wide elastic waist thing. Kinda of low neckline but it has adjustable spaghetti straps! So it's all good~
Thuy Vi and I rented two movies and watched them at my house onnn Friday. O; She couldn't come to youth but oh well. We still had a lot of fun and she was in a good mood 3 days in a row! o; We were both overjoyed. She picked the movies. >> The Eye and The Orphanage. I need some comedy/romances now to balance it out. xp
(Random thought: I think Vanessa's glasses help me see better than mine. Uh-oh)
I finally copied Tales of Earthsea from Teresa. Her birthday party was interesting on the 5th of June. Jenny, Chris, Brandon and I all ran through the water park area in Teresa's neighbourhood and got soaked. It was fun. (Teresa was not impressed. xp) We DID, however, get her a pink DS which Jenny, Cameron, Thuy Vi and I all chipped in for. A couple of other people got her some pokemon game and Cooking Mama. She was certainly happy. Too bad I couldn't go with her and her family to California. That was disappointing. She was going to get me a DS for the trip so I didn't annoy her while she slept. (Or attempted to Hahah)
Oh well. I'll get on eventually~ Baby Blue. o;
Trying to look for another job for the summer since I dont' get enough hours at the library. Though, I would probably go insane working like 20 hours a week there anyways. It's pretty boring. But it pays well, so meh.
What else?
There was Joshua's 1st Birthday, Cameron's going to some camp thing for the summer, Janelle's as busy as usual, still have to have a girl's night with Jessica...
OH!
HOMG
HIKARU GOT A BOYFRIEND. Brown guy. Seems nice from what she tells me. A shocker, I know. This is "HIKARU" we're talking about. We were screaming over the phone for about an hour. Hopefully I'll hang out with her Thursday and maybe sleep over and have DDR marathon. O; But yeah. That was pretty big news. She says she loves him. I was like...wow. Just wow. But good for her. I sincerely hope everything works out. :3But you know I really just want my chicken and asian rice. ;D Lawl. JK. ILY HIKARU.
Laura's over right now across from me over on the other computer. O;
Still have to read Meg Cabot's new book "Airhead" Hmm.
According to Steve we pick up report cards Thursday. O.o I hope I kept my B in Math. I'm in DANCE NEXT YEAR. With Thuy Vi and Kha Tu. I know, right? I sense many humiliating moments ahead. Pray for me. xp (The things I do for my friends and my stupid required 80 hours)
I also took Drawing and Painting. They say I have Ms. Muti, but Mr. Egan says she doesn't teach that, he does. I hope he's right. No offence to Ms. Muti, but I do like Mr. Egan better...stupid yearbook. xD (Cam's Chief next year. Poor Thuy VI XDD)
I'm joining Student council next year as well. O; I think it'll be fun. I'll try to be RESPONSIBLE. And really keep my grades as well.
Math 12. Ew. Ew. Ew.
Still thinking about the whole teaching English as a second language in South Korea. I don't have the time to Learn to read/write Japanese. Korean is easier to write/read.
Japanese letters can be so complicated and numerous. It would take me forever to learn. Even though I would make more money in Japan....
TRICKSTER! Yes, of course. I'm playing TO now with Thuy Vi and Harry. They totally got me addicted. Retards. XD <3>

Seventeen and Such!
Well, it's certainly been awhile!
I'll be starting work experience for social studies 11 at Black Bond Books in Guildford this Tuesday. Five days a week, 100 hours in a month.
I got the job at the library! I start at 13.44/hr, and once I graduate I can apply for the desk job which is around $17/hr. Whooo~ I just did training yesterday.
Kekeke. I start my first shift with more training on Monday.
I'll have to buy some new dress pants for BBB, since I can't survive on the same pair for the whole week... Luckily, there's not much of a dress code at the library so I can wear my jeans! <3
Joshua has gotten very big, and VERY heavy. He can stand up pretty good now, and soon he'll be walking. He eats so much now! I'm amazed. Michelle and Daniel are pretty much the same. They took me out to the aquarium and all you can eat sushi at Tanpopo last Sunday. I got a year membership at the aquarium. I suppose I'll have to find time to use it now. Jenny also gave me the registration form for the AE this summer! I'm hoping to go all three days this time, and actually save up for it this year. I won't RP, though. -sweat- I wonder if Dana will go...
Night school is almost over, with just one class left. Dana and I have pretty much agreed that we'll skip level two and just try out Korean Level one afterwards. Maybe. -hasn't quite decided- It IS a lot of money, after all. And I keep missing French classes because I got sick, and once time I couldn't get a ride when they went to safeway....
Dana and I aren't really making headway with our fanfiction. We didn't make it past chapter 1. LMAO. So much for that. Hah.
I got new shoes finally! Laura chipped in $20, and Marlene chipped in $20, and voila! New shows, brown with the converse symbol in a blue/green colour on the side. They're actually pretty nice! Amanda has her eye on a nice pair of brown Vans that are $70, but she gets a disount since she works at Sportsmart now. No longer a WEX student, she'll now get paid! Two jobs, geez. @_@
I have to buy a bus now for WEX, so that's another $60. OUCH. Oh well, I used up my gift card to BBB and more to get the new Sarah Dessen book and Furuba 19! Whoo! -excited- I also bought a couple of Ted Dekker books, including Saint with my Birthday money! Being seventeen is weird somehow. I don't think it's completely hit me yet. It's JENNY'S birthday today! I STILL haven't gotten her something, since she won't tell me what she wants. I'll have to do my chore tonight, though, so I can go out with her to Korean BBQ tomorrow hopefully after school and hang out... I wonder if Teresa will end up coming?
I'll miss youth, but oh well. Last week was good! We went to a place in Vancouver again for the conference youth event thingy...yeah. I'm jealous: Daniella's church gets to go to this concert thing in Edmonton with like Hawk Nelson and Newsboys! They pay $100, which includes hotel, transportation, AND the concert costs! So not fair. All we were notified of was the History Maker concert in Chilliwack with like Stellar Kart. -sigh- I don't think I'll even make it to that one...
I would write more about my actual birthday party...Jas got me a brown zipper hoodie. Everyone is sick of my gray one. HAH! Cameron got me cheesecake and the fourth book to maximum ride! Amanda is still getting me something, and everyone else pretty much gave me cards, drawings, and money. Lawl. Lee and I didn't get anything for each other.
Bowling was okay, though I didn't play two games like some people. Thuy Vi, Jenny, Chris and I went to eat, and that's when I went to Celebration.
At my house, the Donkey game was the highlight of the evening. I got some pretty funny videos...
I won't elaborate on that here. Anyways, I would write more but I have some music to put on mp mp3 player before my dad wipes out the computers again. GAH!
See you later~

New Years, Valentine's Day, and a Crappy Report Card
Drama, drama, drama... Seriously. Can't get enough of it.
So I'm still at Cobs, though I hope to be working at a book store soon. [Or get hired at one after work experience...cross your fingers!]
Wow, New Years was good this year. Even though it was, techincally, a couple of months ago. xD I am SO behind. But at least I DO have a life now between:
Tuesday: Buddy reading and Night School
Wednesday: Um. Nothing regular as of yet
Thursday: Work
Friday: Youth
Saturday: Worok
Sunday: Church/Visiting/Lazy day?
Monday: Lazy day/Movie day/?
But yeah...we were at Worship invasion.
And Jessica, Cameron, DJ, Lee, Sammy, Josh and everyone was there. It was awesome. Long, tiring, and exerting but awesome. I hope we can do it next year, all of us.
Lots of singing, eating, talking, Video games, etc. And sleeping. I was dead by the end of the night. Hah.
Yearbook is still frustrating me. My english grade sucked. [76%=EW] Even if it is a B.
Chem REALLY sucked. A 64%, C. Ouch. Bio sucked because I was THIS close to a B. Really.
And I'm still getting an A in yearbook, even though it's my least favourite class. How ironic.
Next year, I'm thinking of dropping physics and maybe concentrating on actually becoming an English teacher. I've always liked to keep all of my options open, but only because I didn't know WHAT I was going to do. NOw that i know I want to teach English as a second langauge in Japan, I really should give it a shot. But at the same time, there's still a part of me saying "Keep your options open!" And there aren't enough course spots to satisfy both goals, so...I have a dilemna. But anyways...
INEEDTOGETOVERSTUPID,STUPIDCRUSHES. -stabsthem- Really. I wish they could just wait until AFTER high school. Ugh.
Janelle and I hang out after school sometimes if we have time in between to just chat, drink coffee, and sometimes eat. It's good to catch up.
Socials right now is entertaining and extremely demanding at the same time. I know I'm going to end up extremely disliking it with all the put-me-to-sleep reading.
Valentine's day was dull, really. I know why people don't care for it. However, we have renamed it Chocolate/Hearts/Friend Appreciation day! Whoot~
Dana and I see each other more now because we do the buddyreading, night school ANd work together. Hahahah. ^^ It's pretty fun, actually. I really need to go to her house to play DDR one day.
I DON'T like Wii DDR after experiencing it at DJ's house when Cameron and Jess and us all hung out one day. It was retarded.
I FINALLY saw part of Passion of the Christ with Cameron. [DJ had to go home, and Amanda didn't end up watching it with us] I'll finish it off one day when I'm alone in the house. I don't want to see the rest with Cameron for various reasons. [And if anyone reads this that knows him don't ask, and if you have an idea of the various reasons, don't comment]
I saw Step Up 2 and Jumper in theatres with Laura and Amanda, and then Laura, Amanda and Vanessa. Vanessa wasn't able to see Step Up 2with us because stupid charity didn't come for work one night, so she was stuck there late. Sucks.
I have no free movie tickets left now. D: D:
I slept over at Michelle and Daniel's house last weekend and had a pretty good time. WEnt to Community of Hope again. It's pretty quiet compared to Cedar Grove.
Hawaiian Hearthrob Smoothe=<3333
OH! I went to Chapters and bought "Skin" by Ted Dekker. Yay! can't wait to read it~ Only $8!
And my dad's yelling at me to have a shower. As if 5 minutes is going to make a difference! Oh well. I"ll make another entry later, I guess.
BYE <333
OH! Youth, last Friday Mika related our relationship with God with Kissing. We're supposed to put some tongue into our relationship with God. It was quite amusing, actually. Hahah. I'm sure Jess, Cam and DJ all had a good laugh. xp
I have to go to the stupid Hollywood school dance on wed to take pics. Ugh.
Gotta run!

Janelle Essay Inc.
| YOUBETTERFINISHTHISINYEARBOOK, CHERYL D< (Edit- I never finished it. XDD) Orphan Pinochle says: Hey, what's this page all about? *twitch* ARE YOU LOOKING AT SAFE THINGS!? *twitch* I sure hope you are. All About Janelle You can know a person for most of your life, and stil not really "know" them. Simple questions that people ask you about your friends like "What’s their favourite food?", or "Where were they born?", seem to stump a lot of us. This really shows that people seem to forget about the little things when it comes to their friends. A lot of the time, we’re quite ignorant of their past and most of the people in their life. People always enjoy telling all their friends their life stories, because a lot of people don’t know it. Recently, I’d discovered that Janelle, a friend of mine, had many things about here that I didn’t know. Like most life stories, I’m going to start at the beginning: The major events start when Janelle was born on October 14, 1991. Incidentally, her bother gave birth to her in their very house, right in the bathroom. One of the facts of her history that many of her friends are actually aware of, is that her parents were (or are?) hippies. When she was three years old, her dad built a house which they lived in for a few years until her parents got a divorce. Janelle says that at such a young age, it didn’t affect her too much. A bit into the future, she was only six years old when she fell back on her chair and landed smack dab on a hard surface and cracked her head open. The scars are still visible on her scalp if you know where to look. However, that didn’t seem to put back Janelle at all, as she was off to Disney land at eight years old. However, things started going a bit downhilll when it came to her new mom’s boyfriend, Ray. Apparently, he has psychosis and didn’t take being dumped very well. From Janelle’s tenth to thirteenth year, he stalked her and her mom until she finally got a new boyfriend. Her experiences have certainly been varied! Everyone has people in their life that have influenced them. The people that are close to you help shape who you are today. For Janelle, |

Not as I do by Alaena Night
Chapter from: Snippets and Snapshots
Notes: Because I was thinking that Knives is right. Poor Vash really is one big contradiction in some ways.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do as I say, not as I do.
It's a phrase that fits him so well. He says that people shouldn't be alone, and yet the isolation he forces on himself is the most painful sort of loneliness. He says, "Settle down," but has damned himself to a life of wandering. He protects innocence even as his own burns away with his agonized tears.
"Don't cry," he says...but I hear him at night.
To him, suicide is a horrible thing, yet it's his body that takes the bullets for those he tries to protect, his life that is torn away with each passing year. He always says that the ticket to the future is blank. Why, then, does his past control his life?
Forgive, he says, and yet each of his sins is a knife that cuts away at his heart.
I know he smiles...and I know that he does look toward the future, but the pains he forces himself to bear make me want to take them for him and hold them no matter the weight. To work together and to share one's burdens—though that man encourages both, he exercises neither.
"Love and Peace!" he says, but he denies them to himself in order to give them to others.
I love him, yet I hate him for what he's doing to himself. All I can do is watch as he smiles his empty smiles and as the light of life fades from his eyes.
